Plan for the future without putting benefits at risk.
Whether you're a parent, a sibling, or a relative planning long-term care, we handle the tax and money side, and work alongside your special needs attorney and financial planner.

In short
- We prepare special needs trust tax returns and keep trustee records in order.
- We plan taxes with SSI, SSDI, and Medicaid rules in mind, so money moves the right way.
- We don't draft trusts or wills, or sell investments. We work with the professionals who do.

Common questions
If yours isn't here, ask us on a free call.
Can grandparents give money directly to my child?
Direct gifts can affect SSI. Contributing to an ABLE account or a special needs trust is often a better option. We can walk through what fits your family and loop in your attorney.
ABLE account or special needs trust: which one?
Many families use both. They have different limits and rules. We explain the tax side; your attorney advises on the legal side.
Do you write trusts or wills?
No. That's legal work for a licensed attorney. We handle the tax returns and accounting once the trust exists, and coordinate with your attorney.
Can we meet in Spanish?
Yes. Every service is available in English or Spanish, in person in Gaithersburg or by video.
Protecting your family's records
Benefit letters, medical records, and trust statements are sensitive. Fini offers plain-language guidance on keeping them safe at home and online.
