Practical security for the records you're trusted with.

Therapy notes, diagnoses, insurance claims, and benefit documents are some of the most sensitive data there is. Fini helps small practices and families protect them, in plain language and without scare tactics.

Services

Security words explained in one line, so you always know what you are getting.

Security risk assessment

A review of where your practice is exposed, including support for your HIPAA Security Rule risk analysis.

Cloud & email review

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace settings, MFA (a second sign-in step, like a code on your phone), and email protection.

Practice systems & file sharing

Securing billing and practice management systems, and sharing documents safely with clients.

Ransomware readiness

Ransomware locks your files until you pay. Tested backups and a written plan mean you can recover.

Staff awareness training

Short, friendly sessions on phishing (fake emails that trick you), passwords, and devices.

Vendor & IT provider reviews

Questions to ask the companies that hold or manage your data.

Guidance for families

Practical steps for protecting benefit letters, medical records, and trust statements at home and online.

How an assessment works

  1. We talk

How your practice works, what tools you use, and what worries you.

  2. We review

Accounts, devices, backups, and settings, with minimal disruption.

  3. You get a plain report

What we found, ranked by what matters most, in everyday language.

  4. We help you fix it

Step by step, with you or your IT provider.

An honest note: no one can promise that nothing will ever go wrong. We help you assess and strengthen your security, and be ready if something does.

The small-practice security checklist

Twenty plain-language checks you can do in an afternoon. Here are a few:

  • Every account uses MFA, a second step at sign-in.
  • Backups run daily, and at least one copy is kept offline.
  • Everyone has their own login. No shared passwords.
  • Former staff lose access the day they leave.
  • Client files are shared through a secure portal, not regular email.
